Auburn Parks Commission schedules summer events and approves facilities

Parks and Recreation Commission · Meeting of July 7, 2026

NH AUBURN — Auburn Parks Commission schedules summer programs and researches park improvements. The commission agreed to relocate the Town-Wide Yard Sale to May 15, 2027, to avoid conflict with baseball opening day, and approved repeating the Early Release STEAM program in fall after successful enrollment of 12 students. Camp Adventure's three-week session is fully booked with added counseling staff.

The Senior BBQ is scheduled for August 22 at the Safety Complex with Fire Chief approval. Commissioner Dan Busa is researching gazebo and community garden additions for Appletree Park. The commission will begin 2027 budget development in August.
