Board approves $31,000 generator grant for Safety Complex

NH AUBURN — Auburn Board of Selectmen unanimously accepts emergency generator grant for Safety Complex. The board voted to accept an Emergency Management Performance Grant of $31,000 with a required town match of $31,000, totaling $62,000 for a replacement generator project. Fire Chief Michael Williams is authorized to sign all related documents.

The existing diesel generator was aged with water contamination found in the oil, and the Safety Complex experiences approximately two to three power outages per month. The board unanimously committed to the matching funds necessary for the $62,000 replacement project.
