NH AUBURN — Library trustees weigh $50K foundation damage and building relocation options. At a May 20 strategic planning session, Board Chairman Nancy Mayland directed staff to pursue a formal RFQ from Town Hall for approximately $50,000 in foundation repairs following an assessment by Erickson Foundation. The board unanimously approved disposal of an old cabinet and discussed relocating the building 20 feet to reduce road proximity issues.
Maintenance priorities also include roof monitoring, children's room door repairs, stair rail replacement, and exploration of expansion plan redesign to reduce costs. Director Dan Szczesny created a maintenance tracking spreadsheet to monitor ongoing building issues.
