Parks Commission addresses summer program adjustments and facility maintenance

NH AUBURN — Auburn Parks Commission approves field maintenance, coordinates soccer and baseball seasons. Chairman Zach Eaton led the approval of a new landscape plan for Safety Complex Field that focuses treatment on the play area to stay within 2026 budget. The commission agreed to redirect Auburn Soccer Club's budgeted supplies funding toward field repairs for the club's nine spring teams.
Auburn Little League's 22 teams will open May 9, with a Memorial Day tournament at Wayne Eddows benefiting the league. Low attendance on two spring programs prompted discussion of adjustments before summer.
