Parks Commission advances 2026 budget toward March vote

NH AUBURN — Auburn Parks Commission unanimously approves town 2026 budget and confirms spring programs. The commission backed the annual budget after Board of Selectmen and Budget Committee passage, with the Deliberative Session scheduled for January 31 and town election for March 10. Chair Zach Eaton and commissioners confirmed the Tree Lighting drew approximately 150 residents and scheduled the Helen Hiltz Award presentation for middle school students on January 23.

Spring programs include a senior tea or brunch coordinated by Commissioners Mary Royer and Margie McEvoy, the Sports Equipment Swap on February 7, and the Bunny Brunch in March.
