NH AUBURN — Auburn Parks and Recreation Commission deferred its 2027 budget vote to September 1 and confirmed fall programming. The commission reviewed the initial budget draft and directed Director Amy Lachance to provide cost estimates for pickleball court upgrades and Wayne Eddows improvements. The August 22 Senior BBQ had 25 preregistrations.

For Auburn Night, Chairman Zach Eaton surveyed the space behind Severance School and confirmed room for four to five food trucks, an expansion from prior years. Fall Senior Trip registration to North Conway opened. The commission noted the septic tank at Wayne Eddows was scheduled for pumping, and the PTA had requested the facility on October 17 for the Spooky Walk.
