Planning Board reviews childcare expansion and industrial site proposals

NH AUBURN — Auburn Planning Board heard development presentations on childcare expansion and industrial site plans. Miranda Carter presented plans for It's a Child's World to expand enrollment from 44 to 51 children at its 32 Hooksett Road facility; the facility must obtain amended site plan approval and zoning review, and the expansion raised board questions about parking and traffic impacts from nine additional daily vehicle trips. In a separate conceptual review, Jeffrey Delucia and Rocky Delucia outlined industrial development across three Dartmouth Drive lots, involving road improvements and construction of two to three buildings.
Both projects will proceed to formal application and engineering phases, with regional planning staff coordinating municipal review.
