Selectmen commit to town hall siding replacement this year

Board of Selectmen · Meeting of July 6, 2026

NH AUBURN — Auburn selectmen advance infrastructure projects. The Board of Selectmen committed to replacing the town hall siding this year and discussed landscaping improvements for the Griffin Mill Bridge project with a potential budget of up to $100,000. Town Administrator Chris Sterndale reported the fund balance stands at 15 percent, at the top of the recommended range, with a $500,000 fire truck grant draw planned.

The board discussed a library expansion and repair proposal, agreeing that rushing to implement it for the 2027 warrant is not advisable.
